Lewis Hamilton is a British Formula One driver for Mercedes. Hamilton has won a record seven World Drivers’ Championships and owns the records for most wins, pole positions, and podium finishes.

Hamilton overcame mid-season point deficits to win consecutive titles in 2017 and 2018. In 2019 and 2020, he won his third and fourth consecutive titles to match Schumacher’s record.

He’s also a notable champion for anti-racism activity and racing diversity. Hamilton was named one of Time’s 100 most important people in 2020 and knighted in 2021.
