Mark Walter is an American businessman and the chief executive officer of Guggenheim Partners, a privately held global financial services firm with more than $310 billion in assets under management and headquarters in Chicago and New York.

Mark Walter serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the investment firm Guggenheim Partners, which manages assets worth more than $310 billion.

After Walter merged his Chicago-based company, Liberty Hampshire, with the Guggenheim family office in the late 1990s, he became an early contributor to the establishment of the corporation.



According to reports, a yearlong investigation into Guggenheim by the SEC regarding questionable real estate transactions tied to Walter was concluded in May 2019 with no penalties being issued.
Personal investments made by Walter include stock in the vegan food manufacturer Beyond Meat as well as the online automobile retailer Carvana.

Since the year 2012, when Walter was a part of the investment group that paid $2.2 billion for the Los Angeles Dodgers and became the owners of the franchise, Walter has been a Dodgers owner.
