In the United States, Matthew Broderick is one of the most well-known actors. In Manhattan, New York, he was born on March 21, 1962. He attended the exclusive City and Country School for his elementary schooling and the Walden School for his high school education. At HB Studio, he was trained as an actor.

In an HB Studio workshop production of playwright Horton Foote’s On Valentine’s Day, Johnny starred alongside his father in his first significant acting role. As the clever Charlie Baker, Broderick performed in an off-Broadway adaptation of the celebrated Larry Shue drama The Foreigner in 2004. From April 10 to June 28, 2009, he made an appearance on Broadway in The Philanthropist as a college professor.

He was honored with a motion picture star at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard in 2006 for his achievements to the film business and was enshrined in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The American Theater Hall of Fame accepted him in 2017 as a new member. In 2018, it was revealed that Broderick had been chosen to play the title character of Michael Burr in the Daybreak comedy-drama on Netflix.

For his roles in Brighton Beach Memoirs in 1983 and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 1995, he was honored with two Tony Awards apiece for Best Actor in a Musical.
