Nadia Sawalha is a British actress, television personality and YouTuber. She is best known for her role as Annie Palmer on the BBC One soap opera EastEnders from 1997 to 1999 and as Gina in ITV comedy Second Thoughts from 1992 to 1994.

In January 2011, Sawalha appeared in the sixth series of ITV’s Dancing on Ice with Scottish professional Mark Hanretty.

However, in the first week of the competition, they were eliminated in a double elimination along with Angela Rippon and her partner Sean Rice. Sawalha was voted out of the competition.



In April of 2012, she began collaborating with chef Mark Sargeant to co-host the Saturday Cookbook segment on ITV Breakfast. Sawalha was the host of the television show Kitchen SOS on UKTV Home in the year 2012.

Sawalha and Kaye Adams hosted one season of the cooking show Sunday Scoop together in 2013, beginning on the 27th of October and ending on the 29th of December.

Sawalha became a contestant on the fifteenth season of Celebrity Big Brother, which began airing on Channel 5 on January 7, 2015. She was only allowed to stay in the residence for a total of 24 days before being kicked out.
