Naomi Judd was an American singer-songwriter and actress. In 1983, she and her daughter Wynonna formed the duo known as The Judds.

The iconic country music singer had previously spoken up about her mental health issues.

Naomi claimed in an interview in 2016 that she had been suffering from extreme and severe depression, which had driven her to withdraw from society.

Naomi was a lifelong NAMI ambassador who spoke about her experiences with sexual assault as a child, severe depression, time spent in psychiatric facilities, and suicidal ideation.

In 2016, Naomi published “River of Time: My Descent into Depression and How I Emerged with Hope,” in which she admitted to contemplating suicide by jumping from a bridge near her property.

Wynonna and Ashley both suffer from depression and other mental health difficulties, which is shocking. Wynonna admitted in a recent interview that she tried suicide when she was 18 years old and that she still suffers from depression.

Asley was honest about her mental health issues. According to the actress, she entered the Shades of Hope Treatment Center in 2006 for codependence in her relationships, and anger.

The late Naomi Judd had just two grandchildren namely; Grace Pauline Kelley and Elijah Judd. Grace and Elijah are the children of Naomi’s daughter Wynonna Judd.

Naomi once revealed that she almost missed a trip once when Elijah and Grace came to see their grandma and they spoke over hot chocolate.

Grace and Elijah are from her first marriage with Arch Kelley III. Naomi’s grandson, Elijah recently announced plans of getting married to his longtime girlfriend.

Naomi’s granddaughter, Grace received an eight-year term in 2016 for violating her meth probation. On April 30, 2020, she was arrested, but on April 19, 2021, she was granted parole.

At her April 19, 2021, hearing, she was granted parole with post-release supervision and conditions.
