Randy Arozarena González is a Major League Baseball outfielder for the Tampa Bay Rays. He used to play for the Cardinals in St. Louis. With ten home runs in a single postseason in 2020, Arozarena set a new MLB record.

He won series MVP honors after four of them occurred against the Houston Astros in the 2020 American League Championship Series. The following year, he was named the American League Rookie of the Year.

In 2018, Arozarena gave birth to a daughter in Mexico. Raiko Arozarena, his younger brother, is a goalkeeper for the USL Championship’s Tampa Bay Rowdies.

He has claimed that he wants to become a Mexican citizen and play in the World Baseball Classic for his country.

Arozarena was detained in Mexico’s Yucatan state on November 23, 2020, after reportedly attempting to kidnap his two-year-old daughter and assaulting the woman’s father.

He was let go two days later after the child’s mother declined to seek charges. Between the years 2022 and 2023, a film based on Arozarena’s life will be released.
