he began his high school education at Forest High School and then furthered his education into college at the  Jackson State University (JSU),[1] where he played cornerback for the Tigers from 1996 to 1999.

The football player made his NFL debut with the Panthers on September 3, 2000, at the age of 23, in a 20–17 loss against the Washington Redskins.

Anderson is known to have retired from playing and went into teaching as a substitute teacher and was an assistant football coach at Callaway High School and Murrah High School.
