Sonny William Williams (born 3 August 1985) is a former professional rugby league and rugby union player from New Zealand.
He is one of just 21 players to have won the Rugby World Cup twice, and he is only the second person to represent New Zealand in rugby union after first representing the country in rugby league.
Williams subsequently stated that the “driving element” in his desire to play professional rugby league was to “buy my mother a house” while recalling his difficult family history.
