Freddy Hall, a Bermuda international, allegedly died in a vehicle accident in his native country on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the age of 37.
Frederick Michael George Hall was a Bermudian professional football goalkeeper. On March 3, 1985, he was born in St. George’s, Bermuda, to Sharry Hall and Frederick Hall.
Hall was raised in St. George’s, Bermuda, and began his football career in the island’s junior division as a goalkeeper for the St. George’s Colts.
He played collegiate soccer in the United States before moving to England to pursue a professional career. Hall played for Northampton Town, Chester, Oxford City, and AFC Telford United, as well as a brief time with MLS club Toronto.
He appeared in ten games for Bermuda, including several World Cup qualifiers. Between 2015 and 2018, Hall appeared in almost 40 League of Ireland games for Limerick.
He was a member of Bermuda’s national teams at the U17, U21, and senior levels. On September 2, 2011, Hall made his complete debut against Trinidad and Tobago. The family has yet to publicize Freddy Hall’s obituary or memorial ceremony.
