Brayan Hommy Rocchio is a Venezuelan shortstop who plays with the Cleveland Guardians organization in the major leagues of professional baseball. He was born on January 13, 2001.

In July of 2017, the Cleveland Indians made the decision to sign Rocchio when he became available as an international free agency. In 2018, he made his debut in the professional ranks with the Indians of the Dominican Summer League.

After hitting.323 in 25 games with the DSL Indians, Rocchio earned a promotion to the Arizona League Indians of the Indians organization.

He played with the Arizona League Indians and had an even more successful season, compiling a batting average of.343 in 35 games.

Rocchio played in a total of 60 games during his debut professional season and had a batting average of.335 throughout both levels. He spent the entirety of the 2019 season with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, who compete in the Low–Level of the baseball league.

He participated in 69 games and had an average of.250 at the plate over those outings. The pandemic that prompted the cancellation of the minor league season in 2020 was COVID-19. As a result, he did not participate in any minor league games that year.

On November 19, 2021, the team that would eventually become known as the Cleveland Guardians added Rocchio to their 40-man roster.
