Who is Jeff Wilson Jr?
Jeffery “Jeff” Wilson Jr. is a running back for the National Football League’s (NFL) San Francisco 49ers. He was born on November 16, 1995. He attended North Texas University and signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2018.
Wilson went to Elkhart High School in Texas and was a member of the football team there. As a senior, he was nominated to the Associated Press Class 2A first team all-state after rushing for 2,749 yards and 36 touchdowns.
North Texas, Louisiana-Monroe, New Mexico State, and Texas State all extended him scholarship offers but he choose to attend North Texas University and play football.
During his four-year career at North Texas, Wilson appeared in 41 games (29 starts). On 562 tries, he rushed for 3,205 yards and 32 touchdowns and added 70 receptions for 527 yards and two touchdowns. He concluded his college career third in the school’s all-time rushing touchdowns (32) and fourth in all-time rushing yards (3,205).
