Joe Thwaite, a communication engineer and his wife Jess are currently the talk of the town in the United Kingdom as the couple has won a whopping amount of record-breaking €184 million Euros in a lottery.

The identity of Joe Thwaite and his wife was revealed during a press conference with Dermot O’Leary near Cheltenham on Thursday. It is reported that that is the biggest lottery win in the UK breaking the record of an anonymous person who won €170 millions back in 2019.

Joe who is currently 49, has two young children with his wife Jessie, and two adult children from his previous marriage who are at the university level.

The couple narrated how they had played the lottery very often even though they were mostly unlucky. Joe said, “The family always asked me if I have a ticket for the big draws. While I don’t play every week, I do a Lucky Dip when there is a big jackpot”.

The family is excited about the money and is planning what to do with the larger sum of money which has made them one of the richest people in the UK overnight.
