Bette Midler has become well-known as a seasoned actress in the Hollywood film industry. She has been acting for almost 50 years and is best remembered for her role as Winifred Sanderson in the original Hocus Pocus and its 1993 sequel.

Bette Midler who is a native of Honolulu, Hawaii, was raised in a neighborhood that was predominantly Asian at the time of her birth. Bette is from a working-class family. 

Her mother, Ruth combined two jobs as a seamstress and a housewife, and her father, Fred Midler was a painter at a Navy post in Hawaii and also worked as a house painter.
