Amazon Prime Day is here and this is the biggest sale of the year. Due to low supply and great demand, Amazon Prime Day can be a bit overwhelming, with numerous things on sale and many popular ones selling out rapidly.
What Time Does the Amazon Prime Day Sale Start?
This year’s Amazon Prime Day begins on Tuesday, July 12 at 3 a.m. Eastern time and lasts until Wednesday, July 13.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is a limited-time exclusive day where you get good bargains, discounts, and special offers for Amazon Prime members alone. It all begins on Tuesday at 12 a.m. PT and runs through Wednesday.
Amazon runs an exclusive annual sale for its Prime members, and this year’s Prime Day is the longest savings event to date, lasting a full 48 hours.
Only Amazon Prime members are eligible to purchase Prime Exclusive Deals on Prime Day. Deals will run through July 13th, 23:59 PM PST.
Amazon Prime day initially started as the celebration of Amazon’s 20th anniversary which was launched in July of 2015.
During Prime day, Amazon-branded products will not be the only products to benefit from the promotions.
Over the course of the two-day sale, nearly everything on the website will be discounted. Amazon is also encouraging customers to shop at small businesses and businesses owned by African-Americans and women.
