Jack Ging, a performer who appeared in more than 50 movies and television shows between the 1950s and 1990s, passed away on September 9 at his La Quinta, California, home. No explanation was given about his death.

Ging was best remembered for his role as General Harlan “Bull” Fulbright on The A-Team on NBC. He also had a recurring role as Lt. Dan Ives in the 1960s detective series Mannix. He was also well-known for playing a supporting part in the last season of Dale Robertson’s Tales of Wells Fargo.

Ging got married to Sharon Ramona Thompson in Los Angeles on September 23, 1978. The couple had two daughters.

General Harlan “Bull” Fullbright, the show’s antagonist played by Ging, learns that the soldiers of fortune were heroes rather than villains. Fullbright’s on-screen persona vanished when he was wounded in the back during a rescue effort to save his daughter.

It was a program for kids. He joked in an interview, “They shot 10,000 machine guns from every roof and tossed bombs and grenades, yet nobody ever got killed – except me.”

Ging worked primarily in the television industry, making guest appearances on shows like Bat Masterson, The Roaring 20s, The Twilight Zone, Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Hawaii Five-O.
