American outfielder George Chelston Springer III plays for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB). From 2014 until 2020, he was a member of the Houston Astros.

In the first round of the 2011 MLB draft, the Astros selected Springer (11th overall). In 2014, playing for the Astros, he made his MLB debut. In addition to playing a lot of right fields, Springer has also played a lot of center fields.
