The Denver Broncos are a professional American football franchise based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division.
The club’s administrative offices are located in Dove Valley, Colorado, and it calls Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, its home field for regular season play.
The franchise debuted in the American Football League (AFL) in 1960 as a charter member and later became a member of the National Football League (NFL) as part of the league’s merger in 1970.
Empower Field at Mile High is home to the Denver Broncos, who are owned by the Walton-Penner group. Prior to the construction of Empower Field at Mile High, the Broncos played their home games in Mile High Stadium from 1960 until 2000.
During the first decade of the Broncos’ time in the NFL and the first seven years of their time in the AFL, the team was just marginally competitive.
They did not have a season in which they were victorious until 1973, and they did not qualify for the playoffs until 1977, the year in which they ultimately made it to Super Bowl XII.
What players have the Broncos lost?
The Broncos made the decision not to re-sign Bridgewater after they made the trade for Russell Wilson. He joined the Miami Dolphins on a contract that will last for one year.
Schlottmann, a versatile offensive lineman, has agreed to join the Minnesota Vikings on a one-year agreement after leaving the Denver Broncos.
In addition, Hairston left to sign a one-year contract with Minnesota and then moved there.
As part of the deal to get Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks received three players, including Lock, who was one of them.
Along with Wilson, Fant was sent to Seattle as part of the deal.
