The NFL Fan Cost Index, which measures the cost for a family of four to attend a stadium game, is published annually by sports industry data company Team Marketing Report.
It examines the cost of beer and hot dogs at each stadium for all 32 NFL teams, as well as ticket pricing, parking, merchandise, and – for the purposes of this analysis merchandise.
And regardless of whether the Los Angeles Rams or the Cincinnati Bengals win the Super Bowl, one thing is for certain: when it comes to saving fans money, one of them is a lot greater winner.
For the third consecutive year, the Bengals offer the least expensive fan experience of any NFL team when all the factors are taken into account, including tickets, parking, merchandising, and everything else. Even if the price of beer has increased since last season, the hot dogs and beer are still less expensive than the league average.
Arizona is still among the cheapest locations to watch an NFL game, and this is evident at the concession stand.
The Cardinals are still cheaper than the average league price, and their stadium continues to serve one of the six sub-$5 dogs among all 32 teams, despite the fact that the cost of beer increased by 50 cents in 2020.
The Jacksonville Jags have some somewhat expensive concession pricing, but overall they are one of the cheapest available teams to watch in football. The price of beer increased by a full dollar to $11.50, but at least it’s for a 16-ounce cup now. Hot dogs increased by $1.25.
