Jamison Wesley Crowder was a former quarterback for the New York Jets and played for 11 teams as a quarterback.
Crowder is now a wide receiver with the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills and was born on June 17, 1993. He was selected by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft after playing college football for Duke.
Crowder, a native of Monroe, North Carolina, attended Monroe High School for three years as a letterman under coach Johnny Sowell. During that time, Monroe High School had a three-year record of 29-10 and qualified for three state playoffs.
He had 26 receptions for 618 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior. He took part in the 74th Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, which was played on December 18, 2010, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
From 2011 to 2014, Crowder attended Duke University and played college football under head coach David Cutcliffe. He participated in all 12 games as a true freshman and had 14 receptions for 163 yards and one score.
The Washington Redskins selected Crowder with the 105th overall choice in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. On May 11, 2015, he agreed to a four-year rookie contract.
Crowder committed to the New York Jets on March 15, 2019, agreeing to a three-year, $28.5 million deal with $17 million in guarantees. Crowder made his Jets debut in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills. Crowder caught 14 catches for 99 yards during the contest, which the Jets defeated 17-16.
