On January 26, 2021, Kumerow and the Buffalo Bills reached an agreement on a reserve/futures deal. The quarterback for the Bills, Josh Allen, once joked that Kumerow was his favorite wide receiver because the only grab he made for the team during the regular season led to a touchdown.

Kumerow and the Bills agreed to a one-year contract extension on March 10, 2022. On June 16, 2022, he was released, but later that day, as part of a routine roster management procedure, he was re-signed.

Jake Kumerow is still active for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Jake Anthony Kumerow was born in Bartlett, Illinois, in the United States, on February 17, 1992 and he is currently 30 years old.

Before 2021, he returned to the Bills after that stay. In 15 games last season, Kumerow had two catches for a total of 28 yards. He had the most touchdowns in Buffalo in 2021. The success of the Bills is largely attributable to Kumerow’s special teams.

Eric Kumerow, a former linebacker for the Miami Dolphins, was his father. Jake Kumerow has two siblings: Cortney, a former All-American basketball player at UW-Whitewater, and Derek, a younger brother who plays football for Whitewater.

Jake Kumerow gained his high school education at the Illinois’ South Elgin High School. He originally played collegiate football while attending Illinois. Later, he changed teams to the Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks of NCAA Division III.

On May 8, 2015, undrafted free agent Kumerow agreed to a contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. Additionally, he has taken part in contests for the New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, and New Orleans Saints.
