A running back for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League (NFL), Dominique Raheem Mostert played college football at Purdue. Mostert is now playing for the Miami Dolphins.
During his freshman year, he set new school records for total yardage and average yards per return, both of which had stood for more than four decades.
Mostert had seven returns of at least 39 yards, the longest of which was 81 yards against Indiana, and the longest of which was 74 yards against Wisconsin.
NFL.com ranked Mostert as the fastest college football player in the NCAA, and at the 2014 Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships, only Oklahoma State wide receiver Tyreek Hill had a faster 100-meter time (9.98 seconds).
NFL.com ranked Mostert as the fastest college football player in the NCAA. He excelled in all three events—the sprint, the hurdles, and the jumps—during his time competing for his high school.
After catching three catches for over 100 yards and returning a kickoff 94 yards for a score in the Central Florida All-Star Game in 2010, Mostert was selected as the game’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Additionally, he played in the football game between the North and South of Florida.
Is Raheem Mostert healthy?
After undergoing knee surgery in October, Raheem Mostert is doing quite well in his recovery at this point. This week, Raheem Mostert visited Dr Daniel Cooper, a sports medicine expert in Texas, for a series of examinations and testing.
According to Cooper, the running back has made a complete recovery and will be ready to play by the time the 2022 season rolls around.
The injury to Mostert took place during the first week of the 2021 season. The first diagnosis predicted that Mostert would be gone for around eight weeks, which provided hope that he might return during that season.
