In the 2021 NFL Draft, Banwart went undrafted out of Iowa. Prior to September 9th, he signed with the Titans as a rookie free agency. He continued to work out with the Vikings and the Giants for the remainder of the season after that. When his contract with the Miami Dolphins expired in 2024 as an offensive lineman, he was released.
After stints with the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans, Banwart joins the Vikings practice squad.
Banwart signed with the Titans as a rookie free agency after going undrafted out of Iowa in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was later released on September 9. Banwart spent time camping in Tennessee before joining the Giants practice squad on September 21 and was cut loose on October 19.
In 2020, after making eight starts at the left and right guard for Iowa, Banwart was named to the Pro Football Focus Third-Team All-America team and Phil Steele’s Second-Team All-Big Ten team.
