With the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League, Melvin Ingram III participates in American football as an outside linebacker. His height is 1.88 m, and his weight is 112 kg. He participated in collegiate football from 2007 to 2011 for the University of South Carolina’s South Carolina Gamecocks squad. He led the squad with nine sacks as a junior in 2010. He becomes operational on October 24, 2020.
On November 27, 2020, he damaged his knee again, and was put back on injured reserve. He agreed to a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers in July 2021. In November 2021, he was exchanged for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Miami Dolphins inked Ingram to a deal in May 2022.
