Musician and visual artist Elliot Bergman splits his time between the cities of Los Angeles and Chicago. After completing his education at the University of Michigan, where he focused on jazz, composition, and gamelan music, he has since become an integral part of the creative music scenes in both Brooklyn and Chicago, all while touring widely with his groups Wild Belle and NOMO.
His musical and visual art processes are intricately linked in a way that is distinctively his own. His early skills in metal work led to experimenting with different materials and sounds, which eventually led to the manufacture of bronze bells and sound sculptures beginning in 2012.
