Joejuan Lamont Williams is an American football cornerback who currently plays for the New England Patriots in the National Football League.

Williams was born on December 6, 1997. (NFL). He attended Vanderbilt University for his college football career. Williams spent his freshman, sophomore, and junior years in high school at Father Ryan High School in Nashville, Tennessee.

In his senior year, he transferred to Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee; however, he was deemed ineligible because his hardship request was granted.

Williams, who was rated a four-star talent, was courted by dozens of colleges and universities, including Alabama, Oklahoma, Penn State, Ohio State, and Georgia, among others.

After much deliberation, he decided that he would play collegiate football for Vanderbilt University. Between the years 2016 and 2018,

Williams was a player for Vanderbilt. Following his junior campaign in 2018, he submitted his name to be drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Throughout his career, he recorded 119 tackles and four interceptions for a total of 143 defensive stops. During the 2019 NFL Draft, Williams was chosen by the New England Patriots in the second round (45th overall).

He was chosen sixth overall to play cornerback.
