Ar’Darius Washington is a professional football safety who competes for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He stands 1.73 meters tall and weighs 80 kilograms. He was a standout cornerback for the Eagles as a student at Evangel Christian Academy. After graduating from high school, he played collegiate football for Texas Christian University’s TCU Horned Frogs squad.

He participated in four games for the TCU Horned Frogs in 2018 as a true freshman to keep his redshirt. He had a breakthrough year in 2019 as a redshirt freshman, starting the final few games of the year and leading the team with five interceptions, the most by a rookie under coach Gary Patterson.

After the season, the Football Writers Association of America named him a Freshman All-American and the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. Prior to his sophomore campaign in 2020, he was recognized by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football as a member of the All-Texas College Team, by ESPN as one of the top returning Big 12 players, and by Pro Football Focus as the nation’s second-leading returning safety.

He declared for the 2021 NFL Draft in December 2020, saying he will forgo his last two college seasons. He joined the Baltimore Ravens in May 2021 as an undrafted free agent. Washington was put on injured reserve in November 2021 after sustaining a foot ailment that would finish the season.
