Justin Paul Tucker, who was born on November 21, 1989, plays placekicking for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens.
He attended Texas during his college football career before being acquired as an undrafted free agent by the Ravens in 2012.
With a 91.1 percent accuracy rate, Tucker, one of the best kickers in history, leads the NFL.
He is also the owner of the 66-yard NFL record for the longest successful field goal.
In Austin, Texas, Tucker received his high school diploma from Westlake. He played with future NFL quarterback Nick Foles at Westlake. Tucker played football for the Texas Longhorns while attending the University of Texas.
He made the game-winning field goal with seconds remaining in 2011 to put an end to a rivalry that saw Texas A&M University and the University of Texas play each other 118 times over 117 years.
In the 2012 NFL Draft, Tucker went undrafted. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens on May 29, 2012, and he will join placekicker Billy Cundiff in training camp and preseason games.
Tucker was given the starting job after a strong preseason showing, while Cundiff was let go.
After the season, Tucker was chosen for his sixth Pro Bowl. Tucker was placed 94th on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022, making him the first kicker to appear on the list.
Tucker became the highest-paid kicker in the NFL when he signed a four-year agreement with the Ravens on August 8, 2022, for a total of $24 million.
