A linebacker with the New York Giants of the National Football League, Cameron Courtney Brown was born on April 1, 1998. At Penn State, he played collegiate football.

Before transferring to Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, where he played high school football as a linebacker, Brown started his high school career at James Hubert Blake High School in Silver Spring, Maryland.

He received a diploma from the class of 2016. Brown participated in 51 games while at Penn State, starting 26 of them. As a senior, Brown served as team captain and racked up 72 tackles, 5.5 for a loss, 2 sacks, and 4 passes deflected.

The 183rd pick of the 2020 NFL Draft went to Brown, who was chosen by the New York Giants in the sixth round. Brown had a hamstring injury and was put on injured reserve on September 25, 2021. He became operational on October 16.
