Graham Gano

For the New York Giants of the National Football League, Graham Gano plays professionally as a placekicker. He is 1.88 m tall and 92 kg in weight. He went to J. M. Tate High School, where he excelled in both football and track. From 2005 through 2008, he participated in collegiate football with the Florida State Seminoles at Florida State University.

When he won the 2008 Champs Sports Bowl’s Most Valuable Player award, he became one of only two punters in history to receive such a distinction. He has made five straight attempts from 50 yards or beyond, which retains the Seminoles single-season record.

As an undrafted free agent soon after the 2009 NFL Draft, Gano joined the Baltimore Ravens. After the Ravens released him, the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League signed him. He made a 32-yard field goal for the league’s first points and a 53-yard field goal that set a record for the longest field goal ever made in the NFL.
