Born on May 15, 1996, Andrew Beck is an American football fullback for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL).
Beck attended and played high school football at Henry B. Plant High School before he played college football at Texas.
For five seasons, Beck played football for the Texas Longhorns. As a sophomore, he started for the club at tight end and H-back, receiving eight catches for 77 yards while largely acting as a blocker.
During his junior year, Beck helped D’Onta Foreman, the top runner in the country, by blocking and catching four passes for 82 yards and two scores.
After injuring his foot during preseason practice, he was forced to use a medical redshirt and miss the majority of his senior year.
Beck, a redshirt senior, was voted to the first team of the Big 12 Conference after posting 28 receptions for 281 yards and two touchdowns.
The Broncos placed Beck on the reserve/COVID-19 list on July 30, 2020. He becomes operational on August 17, 2020. With a hamstring injury, he was put on injured reserve on October 31. He becomes operational on December 5, 2020.
Beck was put on injured reserve on December 21, 2021. Beck received the NFL Salute to Service Award on February 10, 2022, which is given out by USAA every year. Beck and the Broncos agreed to a one-year contract extension on March 14, 2022.
