Jerry Davarus Jeudy is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League.
Jeudy was born on April 24, 1999. He went to college in Alabama and played football there. As a sophomore in 2018, he won the Fred Biletnikoff Award for being the best wide receiver.
The following year, he was selected by the Broncos as the 15th overall choice in the NFL Draft. Jeudy played high school football at Deerfield Beach High School, which was located in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Jeudy attended that school. In 2016, when he was a senior in high school, he finished with 76 receptions, 1,054 receiving yards, and 15 touchdowns.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Jeudy was regarded as a five-star recruit, which placed him as the third highest-rated wide receiver in the country and the 21st most-rated recruit overall.
On July 28, 2016, he publicly announced his intention to play college football for the University of Alabama. As a true freshman, Jeudy had 14 receptions for 264 yards and two touchdowns after catching passes.
During SEC Media Day, he was honoured with a spot on the third team of preseason All-SEC. In the spring of 2018, just before beginning his sophomore season,
Jeudy had surgery to repair a meniscus injury he sustained the previous year. His 1,315 receiving yards placed him in second place in the conference, behind only A. J. Brown of Ole Miss.
In Alabama’s game against Clemson for the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship, he recorded 139 yards receiving and scored a touchdown.
