Tim Patrick joined the Baltimore Ravens on May 5, 2017, as an undrafted free agent. On July 30, 2017, he was released. Patrick was added to the Denver Broncos practice squad on October 21, 2017.
On November 8, 2017, he was released. On November 15, 2017, his contract was renewed. On January 1st, 2018, he agreed to a reserve/future deal with the Broncos.
On April 18, 2020, Patrick agreed to a one-year exclusive rights free agent tender with the Broncos.
He had a career-high six receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 of the 2020 campaign on Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets, helping his team to a 37-28 victory. Patrick was kicked out of Week 10’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders for punching Raiders safety Johnathan Abram.
Later, Isaiah Johnson, a player of Abram’s who was also dismissed from the game, punched Patrick. Patrick had five receptions for 119 yards in Week 11’s game against the Miami Dolphins, including a fourth-down catch of 61 yards late in the fourth quarter that gave the Broncos a 20-13 victory.
He had four receptions for 44 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in Week 13’s loss on Sunday Night Football, 22-16, to the Kansas City Chiefs.
On November 20, 2021, Patrick signed a three-year, $34.5 million contract extension with the Broncos.
