Meet Feroz Khan
Feroz Khan was born on September 25, 1939, and passed away on April 27, 2009.
He was a well-known Indian actor, film editor, producer, and director best recognized for his work in Hindi cinema. Throughout his career, he acted in over 60 films and became a prominent style symbol in Bollywood.
Khan’s most well-known films include Aurat (1967), Safar (1970), Mela (1971), Upaasna (1971), Apradh (1972), Khotte Sikkay (1974), Kala Sona (1975), Dharmatma (1975), and Qurbani (1980)
Feroz Khan was born in Bangalore, India, to “Sadiq Ali Khan Tanoli” – an Afghan from Ghazni, Afghanistan, and his mother Fatima, who hailed from Iran and had Persian lineage.
He made low-budget thrillers with starlets in the early 1960s and 1970s. In 1962, he starred alongside Simi Garewal in the English-language film Tarzan Goes to India.
In 1965, he had his first huge hit with Phani Majumdar’s Oonche Log (1965), in which he was placed against Raaj Kumar and Ashok Kumar in a delicate performance.
With his first directorial picture, Apradh, which was the first Indian film to show motor racing in Germany; Mumtaaz was his co-star, he became a successful producer and director in 1971 to increase his career possibilities as a leading man.
Meet Sundari Khan
Feroz and Sundari first met in 1962 and dated under the sheets for three years before deciding to make her his lifelong love. The couple was soon blessed with a daughter, Laila, and a boy, Fardeen Khan.
Sundari discovered Feroz was dating another girl after a few years of marriage, according to sources. Feroz Khan and Sundari separated in 1985, 20 years after they married.
Sundari put her past behind her and chose to put her heart and soul into her new design business.
“I immersed myself into my designing career,” she said in a nostalgic interview. That helped me regain control. I was able to remove myself from the emotional agony.
