Matt Champion is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Chapman made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Arizona League Athletics. He was elevated to the Class-A Beloit Snappers after three games.
In 50 games for Beloit, he batted .237 with five grand slams and 20 RBIs. He likewise played in one game for the Double-A Midland RockHounds toward the finish of the period.
