Joshua John Palacios is an outfielder for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball in the United States (MLB). In 2021, he made his MLB debut. Richie, his younger brother, was taken in the third round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft by the Cleveland Indians.
From 1988 through 1990, his uncle, Rey, was a member of the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball. The Cincinnati Reds selected Palacios in the 31st round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. Instead of signing, he enrolled at San Jacinto Junior College.

where he appeared in 13 games. He was promoted to Class-A Lansing Lugnuts after 28 games in Vancouver, where he ended the 2016 season with a.330 hitting average. In 91 games in 2017, he hit.280 with two home runs, 39 RBI, and 12 stolen bases.
