Joey Krehbiel, full name Joseph Roland Krehbiel is an American born professional baseball pitcher who was born December 20, 1992, in Seminole, Florida in the United States of America. Joey plays as a pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball(MLB).
Joey started playing baseball at Seminole High School in Seminole, Florida where he was a student. After high school, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 12th round of the 2011 MLB draft. He signed with the Angels and played for them from 2011 to 2014. Within that period, he played in several minor leagues for the team including playing for the AZL Angels, Orem Owlz, Burlington Bees, and the Inland Empire 66ers.
In 2014, The Angels traded Joey to the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team in exchange for some players. He played for the Visalia Rawhide in 2014 and 2015. During the 2016 baseball season, Joey played for the Mobile BayBears. For the 2017 baseball season, he split it into two and played for both the Jackson Generals and the Reno Aces minor league teams.
In July 2018, he was called up to the major leagues for the first time by the Diamondbacks. He became a free agent in November 2020 and in February 2021, he was signed into a minor league contract with the Tampa Bay Rays. This contract included an invitation to their Spring Training. In September 2021, Joey was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles
