Robinson David Chirinos González is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher for Major League Baseball’s Baltimore Orioles (MLB).
He has played for the Tampa Bay Rays, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, New York Mets, and Chicago Cubs in Major League Baseball (MLB).
In 2000, he joined the Cubs as an undrafted free agent out of Venezuela. On July 2, 2000, Chirinos signed with the Chicago Cubs as an undrafted free agent out of Venezuela.
He debuted with the AZL Cubs in 2001, then went on to play with the Low-A Boise Hawks in 2002 and the High-A Daytona Cubs in 2005.
