Tyler John Anderson (born December 31, 1989) is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Los Angeles Dodgers (MLB).
He has played for the Colorado Rockies, San Francisco Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Seattle Mariners in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was a member of the University of Oregon baseball team.
Anderson was chosen by the Rockies in the first round of the 2011 MLB draft, with the 20th overall pick. In 2016, he made his MLB debut. Ryan Anderson was drafted in the 50th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft by the Minnesota Twins.
He was a member of the Oregon Ducks baseball team in college. Anderson struck out 285 batters in three seasons to become the Ducks’ all-time strikeout leader. His 105 strikeouts set a new single-season record for Oregon.
