Trevor Bauer Age: How Old Is Trevor Bauer?

Trevor Andrew Bauer is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the United States. He was a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Cleveland Indians, and Cincinnati Reds in the past.

Bauer was enamored with pitching since he was a child, and he would often practice alone outside of his private lessons.

Bauer elected to graduate a year early and enroll at the University of California, Los Angeles after three seasons with William S. Hart High School, culminating in a junior year in which he had a 0.79 earned run average (ERA).

As sophomores, he and fellow ace Gerrit Cole helped UCLA to a 22-game winning run and a College World Series trip, and Bauer won both the Golden Spikes Award and the National Pitcher of the Year Award the following year.

He was taken third overall by the Diamondbacks in the 2011 MLB Draft, and he made his main league debut the following June, being the first player from his draft class to do so.

Bauer was traded to Cleveland after one season with Arizona, during which he battled with his teammates.

He spent the first two seasons there reshaping his pitching style, correcting bad mechanics he picked up following an injury in 2012.

Bauer had established himself as a regular force in the Indians’ starting rotation by 2016, but a stress fracture cut short his season shortly after his first MLB All-Star Game appearance in 2018, keeping him out of the rotation until the end of the season.
