Thomas Robert Kahnle, born August 7, 1989, is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB).
He has also played with the Colorado Rockies, Chicago White Sox, and New York Yankees in Major League Baseball.
In 2009, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Orleans Firebirds, and in 2010, he split his time between the Bourne Braves and the Brewster Whitecaps.
The New York Yankees selected Kahnle in the fifth round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft. He made his professional debut with the Staten Island Yankees in 2010.
On July 31, 2020, Kahnle had an MRI, which revealed a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow. The next week, he underwent Tommy John surgery, therefore ending his 2020 season. On October 31, 2020, Kahnle was dismissed from the 40-man roster and elected free agency.
