Alex Vesia is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut with the Miami Marlins in 2020.
Vesia was born to Bob and Cindy in Alpine, California. He was a baseball player at Steele Canyon High School in Spring Valley, California.
In his senior year in 2014, he was named All-East County. He went to California State University, East Bay, and played collegiate baseball after being undrafted in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.
In terms of Alex’s formal MLB debut, he began his professional career with the Miami Marlins in 2020.
Alex’s most interesting fact is that he was one of many players who went undrafted in the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.
Following that setback, he enrolled at California State College, East Bay, and began his baseball teaching career. After his successful faculty year, he decided to pursue a professional career.
