Justin Matthew Turner is an American born professional baseball player who serves as a third baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. The 37-year-old player has a height of 1.8m and a weight of 93kg. His Jersey number is 10.
Justin grew up in Long Beach, California. He was born to John Turner and Betsy Turner. He attended Mayfair High School in Lakewood, California where he played for the baseball team of the school.
When he completed high school, he got admitted to the California State University in Fullerton. He played college baseball for the University. During the 2006 MLB draft, Justin was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the seventh round (204th overall) of the draft.
He then received a signing bonus of $50,000. In 2008, the Reds traded him to the Baltimore Orioles. His contract with the Orioles was selected in September 2009. He made his MLB debut that day.
In May 2010, he was claimed off waivers from the Orioles by the New York Mets. He was with the Mets till 2013 when he was non tendered by the Mets thereby making him a free agent.
