Zachary McKinstry is an American professional baseball player who serves as a utility player for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. Zach was born to Alex McKinstry and Tracy McKinstry on April 29, 1995, in Toledo, Ohio in the United States.
Zach had his high school career at North Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he played baseball for the school’s baseball team.
After high school, he enrolled at the University of Michigan to play college baseball for the Central Michigan University Chippewas.
In 2016, Zach was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 33rd round of the 2016 MLB draft. He signed with them and began his professional career by playing for the Arizona League Dodgers.
In August 2020 he was promoted to the major leagues but he could not make his debut so he was called up again to the major leagues in September that year and he made his MLB debut when the Dodgers played against the San Diego Padres.
