Chris Taylor, real name Christopher Armand Taylor Jr. is known to be a professional baseball utility player who plays professional baseball for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. He was born to Chris Taylor Sr. and Mary Taylor.
Chris was born and raised in Virginia on August 29, 1990. He started schooling at Great Neck Middle School in Virginia after which he continued at the Frank W. Cox High School where he began his non-professional baseball career.
When he completed high school, he decided to attend the University of Virginia to play college baseball for the Virginia Cavaliers baseball team. He graduated from college in 2012 and was selected by the Seattle Mariners baseball team in the fifth round of the 2012 Major League draft.
He was then assigned to play in minor leagues to kick start his professional career. He started at the Rookie-level and soon got promoted to Class A. He was invited to the Mariner’s spring training in 2014.
He was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers team in 2016. In December 2021, the Dodgers signed a four-year contract with him with a team option for a fifth year. The contract was worth $60 million.
