Mychal Givens career with the Baltimore Orioles
On June 20, 2015, the Baltimore Orioles promoted Givens to the major leagues.
On June 24, he made his major league debut, pitching a scoreless inning with one strikeout, and was sent back to Bowie the next day.
As an All-Star in the Eastern League, he was honored. After the Orioles traded Tommy Hunter and designated Bud Norris for assignment on July 31, he was recalled.
His first Major League victory came against the Detroit Tigers, in which he pitched 12/3 innings and struck out two batters.

Givens was the first Orioles reliever to start his Major League career with seven straight victories, according to STATS, LLC.
