Codi Heuer, born Codi Dalton Heuer is an American born professional baseball pitcher who is currently a part of the Major League Baseball(MLB) and plays for the Chicago Cubs baseball team. Codi is 1.96m tall and weighs 86kg.
Codi was born in Missoula, Montana in the USA but had his high school education at Fort Collins because his family moved there. His parents are Brian Heuer and Beth Heuer. He was born on July 3, 1996.
For his amateur career, Codi played high school baseball for the Fossil Ridge High School located in Fort Collins. During his senior year in school, he set a record in which he struck out 17 batters.
Codi was not drafted by any team after high school so he continued his education by enrolling at the Wichita State University where he played college baseball for the Wichita State Shockers baseball team.
In 2018, the Chicago White Sox team drafted him in the sixth round of the 2018 MLB draft. He was made to begin his professional career by playing with the Great Falls Voyagers of the minor league.
Codi was promoted to the major leagues in 2020 and he made his MLB debut in July that year for the White Sox when they played against the Minnesota Twins. He was traded in July 2021 to the Chicago Cubs team and he has been with the Cubs to date.
