Christopher Riley Martin is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Chicago Cubs in the United States.
He has played for the Colorado Rockies, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, and Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball, as well as the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in Nippon Professional Baseball.
Martin was a baseball player at Arlington High School and McLennan Community College before retiring due to a shoulder injury.
Martin began playing catch after three years of working in a warehouse and felt strong enough to try out for independent league baseball.
