Rafael Angel Ortega Garcia is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder who currently plays for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball. Ortega Garcia was born on May 15, 1991.
Formerly, he was a member of the Major League Baseball teams the Colorado Rockies, the Los Angeles Angels, the Miami Marlins, and the Atlanta Braves.
The Colorado Rockies signed Ortega as an amateur free agent on January 30, 2008. With the Dominican Summer League Rockies, he made his professional debut. Ortega stayed with the DSL Rockies in 2009, hitting.324/.395/.414 in 70 games.
