Jarlin Garcia, full name Jarlin Emmanuel García is one of the professional baseball pitchers with the San Francisco Giants baseball team in the Major League Baseball (MLB). Jarlín has been with the Giants since 2020 after he was claimed off waivers by the team.
Jarlín is from the Dominican Republic. He was born on January 18, 1993, in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic but was raised in Pedro Brand also in the Dominican Republic. He began his professional baseball career in 2010 for the Miami Marlins.
The Marlins signed him as an international free agent and paid $40,000 to him as a signing bonus after agreeing to play for the team. Jarlín was assigned to play for the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League (FSL) during the 2015 minor league season.
