One of the professional baseball pitchers with the San Francisco Giants baseball team is Logan Webb. He is American by birth and has been with the Giants since he completed high school in 2014.
Logan grew up in Rocklin, California in the United States of America where he was born to Erik and Christie on November 18, 1996. He attended Rocklin High School where he played for the school’s baseball team.
He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants whiles still in high school in 2014. He agreed to play for the Giants and not go to College. He was given a signing bonus of $600,000. The Giants pushed him to make his professional debut with the Arizona League Giants that same season he was drafted.
The following year, he spent the season with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes where he recorded a 3–6 record with a 4.92 ERA in 14 starts. He played for the Augusta GreenJackets at the beginning of the 2016 season but he got injured before the season ended and had to undergo a Tommy John surgery.
The Giants was promoted to the major leagues in August 2019 and he made his MLB debut that same day when the Giants faced the Arizona Diamondbacks.
